BUDDY READING

Buddy Reading is an engaging 6 week program for children from low-resourced primary schools or local community centres, designed to foster a love of reading and literacy through group reading, and story extension activities.

WE HELP STUDENTS

Cultivate an interest in reading as a hobby
Improve English language abilities and imagination
Boost confidence to use English in their daily lives
Enhance social skills and interpersonal relationships
Develop a culture of care and volunteerism

“The volunteers are of diverse ethnicities, so children have opportunity to communicate with people from different cultural background, which also enhances their social skills and broadens their horizons.”
